STARS International School is an academically driven institution with years of an outstanding record of high performance. We are looking for a qualified and driven individual with experience as a Primary Mandarin Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team.

Job Qualifications:

· Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree with a teaching qualification/PGCE/Diploma in Education or its equivalent.

· Applicant must be able to teach Mandarin.

· Minimum one year’s teaching experience.

· Highly proficient in the English languageÂ(Native level speaker/CEFR C2/ IELTS band 8 and above/MUET band 5 and above)

· Applicant should be an energetic, creative and progressive-minded teaching professional with a strong drive to achieve excellence.

· Applicant should be familiar with the Cambridge Primary & Secondary Education programme.

· Good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills with fluency in written and spoken English is essential.

· Applicants must be a Malaysian citizen.

Job Description:

· Prepare class learning materials, lesson plans and schemes of work.

· Conduct level assessments for new students.

· Keep and submit students’ progress and attendance reports.

· Prepare and conduct assignments, quizzes, assessments, tests, and examinations.

· Mark and assess students’ assignments, tests and examination scripts.

· Do relief teaching when necessary.

· Participate in special school events.
